nSI needs advanced test engineering expertise in the areas of modeling and simulation, threat signatures, core lethality models, atmospheric and electromagnetic environments, and test event support.
Duties include: (a) Evaluating, recommending, and implementing automated test tools and strategies. (b) Designing, implementing, and conducting test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met. (c) Developing, maintaining, and upgrading automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Also writing, implementing, and reporting status for system test cases for testing. Analyzing test cases and providing regular progress reports. (d) Serving as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications. (e) Directing and/or participating in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.
Qualifications: To qualify for this position, the candidate should possess a MS degree in a related field or have at least ten years of relevant experience. Applicant must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be proficient with office automation tools. Applicant must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Employment requires the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
Desired experience includes: Current security clearance or recent security investigation, related work in a Department of Defense contracting environment, familiarity with the Ballistic Missile Defense System, familiarity with Modeling and Simulation.
