nSI needs intermediate Quality Management and Risk Management expertise in the areas of modeling and simulation, software development, program management, and technical risk assessment and mitigation.
Duties include: (a) Developing project Software Quality Assurance Plan and Risk Management Plan and implementing procedures that conform to contractual requirements. (b) Providing an independent assessment of how the project's software development process is being implemented relative to defined processes and recommending methods to optimize the organization's processes. (c) May be responsible for all activities involving quality assurance, risk assessment, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. (d) Conducting audits and reviews, analyzing data and documentation. (e) Developing and implementing procedures and test plans for assuring quality and risk management in a system development environment which supports large databases and applications.
Qualifications: To qualify for this position, the candidate should possess a BS degree in a related field or have at least seven years of relevant experience. Applicant must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be proficient with office automation tools. Applicant must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Employment requires the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
Desired experience includes: Current security clearance or recent security investigation, related work in a Department of Defense contracting environment, familiarity with the Ballistic Missile Defense System, familiarity with Modeling and Simulation.
